Application
Viledon self-cleaning pulse-jet filter cartridges of GTB series are used in supply air filtration systems for gas turbines and turbo compressors,
particularly suitable for predominantly dry locations with high dust concentrations in the
ambient air.
MEDIA AND CHARACTERISTICS 
High-strength blended microfiber nonwoven with water repellent coating.
The filter media ensures high arrestance, high dust holding capacity,
low average pressure drop and high cost efficiency.
The Freudenberg Minipleat technology optimizes GTB cartridges in terms of filter area, pleat height, and number of pleats, ensuring that the active area remains fully effective throughout its operating lifetime.
Inner and outer support cages and end base end caps are made of galvanized steel or stainless steel (G90 grade). All components are cast
together to ensure leak-proof operation as well as high security against dust penetration during pulse operation.
Foamed-on EPDM gasket ensures optimum sealing against the mounting plate.
The gasket on the large cylindrical cartridge and the integrated centering aid on the small cylindrical cartridge enable simple and
precise installation, while an integrated gasket compression limiter controls the correct gasket compression during installation.

The application
Depth-loading filter cartridges of the GTG series are used in supply air
filtration systems for gas turbines and turbo compressors.
The concept GTG depth-loading cartridges with their optimum pressure drop characteristics and maximized useful lifetimes, significantly enhance the cost efficiency of turbomachinery systems.
They are particularly successful whenever the cleaning of surface filter cartridges does not produce any effective reduction in pressure drop, because the dust concentrations are too low and / or the dusts concerned are too sticky.

The characteristics and the benefits
• Innovative high strength synthetic micro-glassfiber nonwoven with water
repellent coating and uniform pleat spacing for maximum dust holding capacity.
• The filter medium offers excellent initial efficiency (of Filter class F 9
level), high dust holding capacity, low pressure drop and high cost efficiency. This makes the GTG cartridges particularly suitable for locations
with high fine dust concentrations in the ambient air.
• GTG cartridges have been optimized in terms of filtering area, pleat depth

pleat spacing results in a particularly low pressure drop and very good
cleanability via pulse impulses (especially compared to conventional
conical-cylindrical geometries).
• The innovative packaging of pairs of cartridges pushed into each other
halves the required storage volume.
• To minimize corrosion and handling damage, the inner and outer support
cage and base end caps are made of galvanized steel G90 grade.
